hello again guys.
i am having team talk issure. when i try to connect to the zone's voice chat server, it keeps telling me an error acured wile preforming a requested action. not logged in. but all information is correct and username and password are as well. not even an uninstall then reinstall fixed it. help?
the only thing I can tell you here is that:
there are two fields for a username and password. You need to put yours in the fields that say "optional".
Remember that both the username and password fields are case sensitive. I've made this mistake quite a lot myself.
Finally, remember that your password to log onto the site is not the same as your TeamTalk password, unless you have specifically set it up to be the same.
If you've checked all of these things and they are all accurate, you may have a firewall that is blocking TeamTalk. Have you tried to connect to other servers? if not, you might want to try this to find out whether the problem lies in connecting to the Zone's server specifically, or if you have a firewall that is blocking TeamTalk. I had a friend that had this issue at one point, and once the firewall was turned off, it was fine. Hope that helps.
yes, yes, and yes. no my password isin't the same, but other then that, username is right password is right, and team talk is alowed through my firewall. and as for trying to conect to another server, i don't know of any.
I'm sure you can probably find a public server using google or something. You don't have to talk to anyone. Just make sure you can connect. Then you'll know for sure whether it's specifically involving the zone's server, or whether it's something to do with TeamTalk, or your connection. In fact, http://www.bearware.dk/, the official TeamTalk page has links to public servers you can connect to.
what do you know, the issue is this sight. it's not letting me connect for some reason.
yeah, I get the exact same problem
The first time I installed TeamTalk I was having no problems, but I reinstalled it because I was having reading the messages from people on the message window and now I am having the same issue.
